2024 World Champions: Ducati’s Best Ever MotoGP Season In Numbers

Ducati claimed the MotoGP™ World Title for the third consecutive season, with Jorge Martín riding the Desmosedici GP24 for the Pramac Racing team. This marks the fourth Riders’ World Title for the Borgo Panigale factory in the premier class, following victories by Casey Stoner in 2007 and Francesco Bagnaia in 2022 and 2023.

For the fifth year in a row, and the sixth time in its MotoGP history, Ducati secured the Constructors’ World Championship, amassing a total of 722 points—327 points ahead of the runner-up. Ducati further solidified its dominance when Enea Bastianini’s win at the Emilia-Romagna GP made it the only European brand to surpass 100 wins in MotoGP. By the end of the 2024 season, Ducati had reached 106 victories in the premier class.

The 2024 season also saw Ducati achieve an all-time record by winning 19 of the 20 Grand Prix races on the calendar, with 17 of these wins coming consecutively. Four Ducati riders contributed to this success: Francesco Bagnaia with 11 wins, Jorge Martín with 3, Marc Márquez with 3, and Enea Bastianini with 2.

Ducati set new benchmarks this season, including a record 53 podium finishes, surpassing the previous season by ten. The manufacturer monopolized the podium on 14 occasions, bringing its total top-class podium sweeps to 23. Additionally, Ducati maintained an extraordinary streak of 66 consecutive MotoGP races with at least one rider finishing in the Top 3.

Six Ducati riders finished on the podium at least once during the season: Jorge Martín and Francesco Bagnaia each had 16 podiums, Marc Márquez had 10, Enea Bastianini had 9, while Alex Márquez and Marco Bezzecchi each claimed one. Ducati’s strong qualifying performance continued as the team secured at least one front-row grid position in 80 consecutive races and claimed 16 pole positions during the 2024 season. Notably, the team reached its 100th premier-class pole position at the Indonesia GP.
