Formula E Presents Evo Sessions

Formula E has today announced the launch of Formula E “Evo Sessions” – a motorsports-first, which will give 11 personalities from the worlds of sport, tech and entertainment, the unprecedented opportunity to get behind the wheel of the world’s fastest electric race cars – the GEN3 Evo – and understand what it takes to reach the pinnacle of motorsports.

Over the next six weeks – ahead of a track event at the Miami International Autodrome (Hard Rock Stadium) on March 5-6, 2025 – a carefully curated collective of 11 of the world’s most-followed and popular personalities, comprising actors, athletes and content creators with a combined reach of more than 300 million, will be paired and embedded within elite Formula E race teams as part of their preparations.

During the two-day event, which the participants will have prepared for, they will experience the breathtaking performance of the all-new Formula E GEN3 Evo electric race car on the track, capable of 0-60mph in just 1.82sec – 30% faster than a current F1 car. They will also take part in a number of familiarization laps to accustom themselves to the track layout.

First to be announced of the 11 participants include:

The remaining five participants, as well as announcements detailing which Formula E teams and drivers they will be paired up with, will be revealed over the coming weeks across Formula E social media channels.

All participants will receive an intense training program, which will include simulator sessions, physical conditioning, driver coaching, hardware customization and engineering briefings. They will experience first-hand just how tough and complicated it is to prepare, train and drive like a world-class racing driver.

The entire journey from rookie-to-racer will be captured for social-first content, through the creators’ lens, and shared across both their own and the Formula E social media channels. The whole experience will offer fans a rare and exclusive behind-the-scenes, access-all-areas viewpoint into the world of Formula E from directly behind the wheel.

“Evo Sessions” will showcase what it truly takes to compete at the pinnacle of electric motorsports, with a feature-length documentary coming later in 2025.

Jeff Dodds, CEO, Formula E

“The initial reaction when I presented the “Evo Sessions” concept to our teams and partners was, ‘this is wild!’– which is when I immediately knew we had to bring it to life. We wanted to do something that has never been done before in motorsports; something that would give audiences and our fanbase a unique perspective into the world of a Formula E driver and our series through the eyes of some of their favorite online personalities.

“Formula E is the fastest growing motorsports in the world, and we have a clear target to hit half a billion fans by 2030. And by collaborating with some of the biggest names in popular culture right now, we’re able to open up Formula E to a whole new fanbase.

“I’ve been lucky enough to get behind the wheel of a Formula E racing car, but this event will be truly eye-opening on what it takes to be an elite racing driver. It will uncover the world-class ability of the drivers and teams alike and highlight the raw skill and ingenuity we have in the championship.”

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham

“I’ve loved motorsports all my life, so when the opportunity came to be a part of Evo Sessions with Formula E, I jumped at the chance. I love it as a sport, but it’s an incredible opportunity to actually get behind the wheel and experience what it takes to compete at the top level of motorsports. The performance of the cars is insane, so I’m pleased I’ll be learning how to get the most out of them from the best.”
